5.1 Introduction

The final part of the data analysis process is two-fold.  The first section of this chapter, therefore, will provide an analysis of two spheres within the data where there were fundamental differences of opinion i.e. when participants were discussing issues related firstly to ‘social workers’, and secondly to ‘immigration’.  The second section of this chapter will then analyse the discussion meetings held by the RCG, i.e. a group of Deaf citizens who came together to reflect on the researcher’s analysis of the focus group data.
